Microgynon pill? does it get rid of bad pains? or will i get mood swings and depression?

the doctor gave me the pill yesterday but im scared to take it bcos i don't want to put on weight have mood swings or anythin.. should i get a 2nd opinion at another doctor?

go to the doctor, im sure there are not of people that take that certain pill.. no one would know better than your doctor. Just give him a call, it wont cost you anything and will give you a big relief knowing

if you want to go on the pill because of bad period pain you are better off on an progersterone only pill - i suffered bad bad symptoms for 30 years and then a doctor said why dont you go on a progersterone only pill, i tried it and it worked wonders, i could have stopped 30 years of abject agony if only my doctors were smarter, and yes there is weight gain on the pill but its better than being pregnant!

You'll have to try it and see, all the different pills affect women differently and unless you try one, you won't know what affect it will have on you. Most women don't get side effects and if they do then they can either change pills or the side effects usually stop after 1-3 months. the type you've been given I have heard of some women using successfully for many years.
