Does getting up early help depression? |
I usually wake up around noon-ish. On the weekends when I don't work, would waking up earlier (8 am-ish) help depression? Well, to be honest, I'm not exactly sure. Definitely. Sleeping in can make you groggier for the rest of the day. By falling asleep at a reasonable time, you can wake up earlier without feeling the need to continue sleeping in. Simply being in the morning air and waking up at the same time of everyone else can definitely improve your mood. Yes,get up early and get outside.Sunlight is supposed to help your serotonin levels. absolutely, it takes 3 weeks, to form a new habit. thats it. |
