I had a depression and i am able to cope it up through other person.. is this effective?

you don't need others to make you happy you need to fix your problem long term by getting some therapy. I think CBT or DBT would help you out a great deal. See your doctor and get the support you really need once your on your way then start looking for a relationship. Having a relationship just to get over your depression is not the answer. take care good luck

Yes and no. Yes because its something that actually works for you.

BUT if something happens and that person leaves for some reason, then you're left on your own unable to cope again...
