Depression apparently causes suicidal feelings and tendencies. Some feel that it is the depression medication |
s that cause these tendencies. Is there any research that suggests which situation is more accurate? Some depression medications side-effects do cause suicidal feelings in teens. First of all when a med is prescribed to you the first thing you do is ask about the side-effects. Now remember side-effects doesn't mean it will happen, it means it might. Then to be perfectly honest, I ask my pharmacist, I feel he has more knowledge of medications and being a nurse I have seen a few doctors call a pharmacists and question them about a certain med. So when in question get both opinions. Be safe! As far as I know there is always research going on but I haven't read of anything new. Again, check with your local pharmacist...they are always willing to answer your questions. I know from talking to a doctor that some meds can cause more of those thoughts in one person while in another person it does them good. It depends on the person. People that have committed suicide while on antidepressants were already suicidal before they started the medication. please try this,it really helped me to solve my problem |
