What do you think are simple ways to avoid or to treat depression for teenagers and youths???


Is it prevalent in your school, community? What is/are the actual cause/s?

Useful answers appreciated!

It helps to keep busy. Exercise has been proven again and again to stave off depression. And feeling a sense of belonging. Sports teams, band, or art all help youths to use their minds in a constructive way and produce something that they feel is worthwhile and beauitiful (an athletic performance, art, or music, etc)

1. Avoidance from anti-social activities

2. Find something the individual is passionate about

3. Show belief in the individual (very powerful!!)

4. Positive re-reinforcement will change negative behavior

stay off the internet and have loads of friends

also it wouldnt hurt to be involved in things
