How to tell someone u have depression? |
how can i tell my parents i have depression without actually telling them cuz i cant? Hm. You could tell them about a 'friend' who has your symptoms - tell them he/she went to the doctor and was diagnosed with depression. Let them know that the doctor told him/her that depression was actually a chemical imbalance in the brain that makes it harder for him/her to function normally (this is true - I have depression). okay..so what you're saying is that you want your parents to know that you have depression but you don't want to tell them in person? Well, if you think you have depression then you should just come out and tell them so they can get you help. Just tell them how you feel and you think you need help. They should understand. There are many antidepressants out there that can help you. go to this website, print off a few articles on depression and leave it out for them! they will, or they should get the hint real fast Describe how you feel, without using the word depression. They'll probably get the message. |
