start going gym, eat well, and socialise more. i know it will bw hard, but its what u need

Understanding the cause is first place to start. This can sometime be a longer than wanted exploratory process, Never the less you need help in controlling the symptoms now. The answer to your question is Yes and No.
Yes you can take control without medication and the therapy to some extent can be done by you alone, depending on the severity of the situation.
To start it is necessary to make sure you are getting good nutrition, exercise and very importantly GOOD SLEEP. I would suggest eating well and exercising. The physical health of your body significantly effects your mental health. Finding a hobby is good. As well as finding good friends to spend time with. But if push comes to shove and nothing seems to help, talking to someone and/or seeing a doctor is a good route. A doctor could tell you some alternate ways to help treat depression naturally without seeing a therapist.

there is no way. i tried it for years but it only got worse until i wised up and sought help for it. there is no social stigma attached to depression anymore. i hate to see someone suffer from it needlessly. your regular doctor ,if anything like mine,should be able to help you with meds for it. check with your local hospital and see if they have meetings for people with depression that you can attend for extra help with it. you have my heart- felt sympathy. i have depression as do my husband and son and one grandchild. it can really make life difficult to deal with at times. Hi there I think diet and exercise can help but have also been told about St Johns wart.It's a natural substance but should not take with the contraceptive pill.I was told it should be taken with multi vitamins as these can also help your mood.

Positive mental attitude - look at whats making you depressed and or getting you down and then work out a way to correct it.

There is always a way forward if you really look for it and stop making excuses.

id say if u got a gf or a bf that would help. They can change ur whole perspective on life. thats just my opinion though
