Im suffering from depression... please.... someone help me......?

......please... for the love of god......will someone help me......

I really want to talk to a therapist, but my family wont take me. I tried talking to my friends, and pretty much anyone who said they wanted to help me at school : they kept calling me a f@ggot, pathetic, that im just posing as a emo, saying im not depressed, saying im trying to get attention, and that I should've killed myself already if im depressed....

I wont kill myself... but I really don't want to suffer anymore... no one understands me.... I just want help, please..... this is my last hope

Thank you so much to everyone who responded. All of your answers were wonderful. I would love some more feedback please. Thank you <3

Honey those people dont have hearts. Why on earth would ANYONE fake depression? Talk to you schools guidance counsler if you have one. I totally understand what you are going through. I went through depression a year ago because of cliques in school. I dont know why your parents wont take you but try talking to them and telling them how you feel. Maybe if they listened to what you have to say they will consider taking you. And those pole who say that you need to kill yourself to be depressed dont know what they are talking about. How would they feel if they were depressed and no one belived them? They would be hurt. So they really need to get a life and stop being so rude. I know I can't help much but email me and maybe I can help you a bit :) <33

You family won't take you to see a therapist? Why?

You can talk to a guidence counselor or your primary care doctor. How old are you? Can you drive yourself to a dr's appointment?

You're friends are sadly not your friends.

I don't think you should have to suffer either. If you're in middle school I can tell you that was the worst time of my life but there are people who care about you. I used to talk to a guidance counselor. You will be okay. Talk more about what is exactly upsetting you.

It's unlikely that you have depression. You are young and going through alot of hormonal changes...this gets alot of teens down! The best thing to do is spend your free time doing things you really enjoy. Art, writing, developing astronomical theories (it interests some people!)...anything you enjoy that you can improve on and continue throughout life. Make some new discoveries, too: Maybe listen to some classic music you normally don't listen to, or hit an open-mic night at a coffee shop. Try before you resign yourself to "suffering". With a little initiative, you may even meet new friends who understand the part of you that needs it.

Don't listen to other people. Most of them don't understand or don't care to understand what they're not going through. If it's real to you and you feel this way, then it is real, even if it's not real to them. And why would you being doing this for attention when all you're getting is a whole bunch of negative words thrown in your face? You need to take this into your own hands and call a helpline. Here is a number for one that is toll free and open 24 hours. 1-800-273-TALK (8255). Talk to people that will understand you. Don't unburden yourself to people who are just going to make you feel worse.

Honestly, exercise helps A LOT. Go for a jog when you feel like you need to get away from your family. Focus on nature and listen to music while you go running. Think about the good things you have in life and just work hard in school so you can escape from it all one day.

High school is always fairly difficult. I promise it will get better. Keep a journal and make goals. What do you want to accomplish by the end of the week? Don't give up, girly... you got it.

Fake an illness, so your parents have to take you to the doctors, then tell the doctor what your problem is.
Tell the school nurse and ask her to help you.
When you feel depressed, concentrate on your breathing.
Exercise, listen to music, dance.
Just some of my ideas. I hope you get some help.

Why are you depressed cheer up! Maybe if your school has a counselor you can go to her! if they dont, then get a diary and or journal. Join hobbies or do things that will interest and distract you
hope this helped

Get busy with doing something, honey. - You'll grow out of it.

no you're not, get over it

its like everyone thinks there's something wrong with them...

This is never your last hope!

Go to your guidance counselor or school nurse. They can help you get the help you are asking for!

Do not put this off! The school year is about to end. I am sure that someone will help you if you ask the right people.

Thank you for not killing yourself. Thank you for giving yourself a second chance to find the help you need.

If your school counselor or nurse cannot help you, contact your local mental health department. Most of them have programs that can help you. They can even talk to your parents about options that you will benefit from. Most places will charge according to how much money you can pay. It's called a sliding scale fee.

People who say the things about you that they have do not know how hurtful their words can be. People that are not willing to help you may not want to for many reasons. Mostly either due to money they don't have or that they are unwilling to deal with something they don't know anything about. Do not take no for an answer. You know you need help, and you are willing to get it.

I sincerely hope this has helped you.

I don't waste my time on 'pathetic, emo, attention seekers'. I believe you.

Dee
