Can Coffee help with depression? I heard it's an upper. Is this true? |
I have depression, and want to know if coffee would help up my mood. I have bipolar and the depression that comes with it. I have found that if your severely depressed pretty much nothing helps, not coffee or caffeine. But I just drank a large vanilla latte and it definitely helps. Try staying up for 24 hours drinking caffeine frequently and it might help your depression. This is what I do, not what the doc says of course. So yes caffeine can help depression at times. I've just answered 2 other depression questions. No it will make things worse, as alcohol does. Exercise is good and a good talk. If you're interested look up www.cumuluscounselling.org yes but dont drink to much but try going to other things that always helps |
