There are many medications which are known to cause depression. Those who do not struggle with depression are not as effected as those who do. Even many antidepressants can worsen depression, especially in the beginning of treatment.

Some people are child-like and cannot properly control themselves. They may not have a good perspective on the purpose of life. This may cause depression. I don't believe the opposite is true, though, that depression causes child-like behavior. Rather, child-like behavior may cause depression. What do you think?
