Depression and anxiety linked to prednisone? |
Over a month ago my doc prescribed prednisone (two pills a day 20 my each) for five days I took it and after I was done I experienced a few side effects but they finally went away now over a month later I'm experiencing an anxiety attacks and depression. I told my mom and she thinks it's from the prednisone but I'm not so sure. Could the prednisone still be affectig me? I don't think so. I had it prescribed to me for 3 days, same dosage as you, like a year ago. I didn't experience any more anxiety or depression than is normal for me. :T Absolutely. Sometimes it takes a while for meds to fully spread through out the body and for your body to absorb it completely. It makes perfect sense that your meds could be affecting you. It is not unheard of. |
