If God loves me then why doesn't he take away my depression and anxiety?

If God loves me then why doesn't he take away my depression and anxiety?

Hi, the problems you face will either defeat you or develop you - depending on how you respond to them. Unfortunately, most people fail to see how God wants to use problems for good in their lives. Sometimes God must light a fire under you to get you moving. Problems often point us in a new direction and motivate us to change. Is God trying to get your attention? "Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

Here's the point: God is at work in your life - even when you don't recognize it or understand it. But it's so much easier when you surrender to his plan for your life.
God helps those who help themselves.
Go to the gym and lift weights and exercise. It works......
Personally, I don't believe in God.

But if he does exist, then he can't possibly have time to look after everyone. The only person who can control your depression and anxiety is you.
Okay you have to be more realistic, you have to do it yourself, you can't just pray to something you have no facts are there and exspect an outcome, go to your docter and get medication, if not try joining something keep yourself busy and meet new people.
If your religious then consider that God made Joseph second in command of Egypt, which means that when in egypt do as the egyptians. Go to a Dr. and get some meds, they are there for everyone.
Great question. See this webpage for a great answer. It tells about a minister on a medication for anxiety and 3 for depression and how he cured it naturally changing his lifestyle.
