Just because one or two anti-depressants failed, doesn't mean that they all will. It took several years, many medications, and many combinations of medications of medications before I found something that worked for me.

If your doctor suggests ECT - I suggest that you find a different doctor. ECT has caused a permanent memory dysfunction in me, and it is not an uncommon side effect.

Therapy and usually group therapy is best, exercise and a good diet low in sugars and fats a good mulivitamin and mineral added, talking to someone that you like and get along with, laughter is medecine for the soul ao watch funny movies and programs on tv, try helping other people that are worse off than you are by volunteering someplace, listening to uplifting music and stay away from people that bring you down or criticize you. Keep a journal, writing down your feelings helps. good luck.
go see your doctor, there is a large selection and interact with different parts of the brain. OR try the alternative method, talk to someone, yoga, change of diet.
