Any long term exstacy users? Have you seen any long term effects (depression, anxiety, etc.)? |
How many did you take? I did ecstasy every day for about two years when I was in Germany. I finally put myself into rehab. I almost died after taking 12 in one sitting. I have been clean for about a year now and I have definite consequences of my actions. My memory (which in studies ecstasy is known to affect that portion of the brain) was severely affected. I have trouble remembering things all the time and now have to write everything down. I am diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder. I have anxiety/panic attacks almost daily when before my ecstasy use I never had. I also suffer from "flashbacks" whenever Im around things that remind me of the use. I was around black lights and strobe lights the other day and for about a minute straight I felt like i was "rollin" or high on the drug. I also suffer from delusions every now and then. I will look at a object and it ill move, simular to how objects would move or look when high. I also have Depression and Anger problems that I didn't have before. I have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder because I have rapid mood swings from it. I am living proof that it affects your brain. I know it definitly took a toll on mine. There isn't any long term effects that we've noticed. It all depends on the user themself, how many they take at one time, how often they use them, etc. i had done it for an year and the only long term effect was addiction and guilt that i wasted my time on a useless thing which only harmed my health and my personal life.. now am over it and have stopped taking it anymore.. grow up people..its not worth the 5 minute fun in the long run.. i only used it like 5 times in my life and I could tell you it has affected me terribly!!! I am always paranoid thinking someone is after me, I have feelings like someone is going to kill me or I am going to die!!!! If you are doing it please stop or if you're thinking of doing it DON'T! it is not worth it BELIEVE ME! Each time I took one pill. it has different effects on people depending on your body some people die the frist time they try it!!! The high is good don't get me wrong but is not worth the consequences and the damages you cause to your own body! |
