I hate going to bed. Help. I need the sleep but my depression, anxiety, or whatever causes me to want to? |
stay up and keep goofing around. I don't like going to bed either. I wish the days were much longer. you need to see a doctor drink a cold class of milk. dont eat spicy, fatty, or caffeinated foods late at night since they cause people to stay up> read a book, say a prayer, and try to relax. turn on a fan if you have one to help you go to sleep. good luck> You might be like me, I haven't slept in a week... I try hard but it doesn't come I'm afraid :/ Join the insomnia club on newgrounds! http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic.php?... Are you a religious person? Try to pray if you do, otherwise have sex until you are really tired. Don't forget to see a doctor or psychologist too. Don't eat those sleep pills right away, you'll never know the effect from those stuff. I have the same problem. That's why I get on here to make myself tired enough to sleep. Try lying in your bed and reading a book until you get sleepy. A common sign of stress is insomnia, or the inability to fall asleep. The most common cause for this is the fact that, when you are under stress, your mind tends to keep racing even when you are trying to relax. Thus, rather than resting, your brain simply continues its frantic pace of activity, preventing you from getting the sleep you need to keep your stress under control. Yes, sleep helps manage stress, yet stress can leave you incapable of sleeping. This is yet another example of the ways in which stress can work to simply continue itself. Other sleep problems that arise from stress include nightmares, sleepwalking, sleep apnea -- not breathing during sleep, which causes the body to wake up -- and hypersomnia -- or persistent fatigue and desire to sleep. Unfortunately, these syndromes are debilitating and can cause many problems all their own. Thus, if you are suffering from any of these, you should probably see a doctor in order to manage both the condition and the stress that is causing it. |
