Does anyone know of a good book about overcoming meth addiction and/or depression? Thanks,? |
Meth/Crystal addiction and battling depression 'Overcoming Crystal Meth Addiction: An Essential Guide' by Steven James Lee is a good one. Also, 'Crystal Meth: They Call it Ice' by Mary Holley. overcoming it no...but Junkie is a great book I can't remember the guys name but it is fantastic. And I personally enjoyed A million tiny pieces by james fray million little pieces deals with drug addiction not specifically meth. its really good though. The B I B L E. Actually, [I'm sorry!] I do not know. I 'm just glad that you care, and want you to know that I care, to the best of my ability, and I've noticed that the Bible actually has the answers to a lot of things. "Good luck," Dude. You are among friends. I don't remember it very well, I'm not sure whether she got over the drugs (whether Meth or what) or not in the book, but Go Ask Alice is a great true story about drug addiction. If you're older than 13 (I assume you are), read it, if not, it might be a bit innappropriate for you. But it is very hard-hitting and emotional. Read 'A Piece Of Cake" by Cupcake Brown. It will amaze you what determination and an act of kindness can do for you. I am not sure of any good book to name, but you might try going on to the Doctor Phil site or even Oprah they have both dealt with both topics, and they have had numerous speakers on these topics, that might have a spot where you can find books related to there speakers. On Dr. Phil.com just type in the word drugs in the search bar and it takes you to his different discussions about drugs. |
