I am the type of person who stresses soo much and easily falls into depression. How do you deal with Stress???



I have a great man who loves me soo much but somehow i am not completely happy. I am a great critic when it comes to every aspect of life, My life. I have everything to be happy about but yet i have nothing. I feel empty and i feel unsatisfied and alone.... how does one live like that? or how can that lifestyle be changed? is it a lifestyle?

that is depression but dont take any meds, i suffer from depression, and ill have it forever cause is something i was born with, it runs in the family. Try exercising! Since i started going to the gym i feel really happy, its really the best way to feel good.
I feel you. I think excercise and keeping yourself happy is good. Don't rely on anyone else to make you happy...
Talk to God, read His word, and don't get overwhelmed by all there is to do. Just do the next thing.
Talk to your man and let him know how you feel. With my girlfriend, I do everything she needs to make her happy. Sometimes just talking to him might help. Start listing things that you are unhappy about on a piece of paper and coming up with solutions. Include your man in this. Also, with my own experiences, I've stopped drinking alcohol and I've gotten to bed at reasonable hours. Amounts of sleep is important - 8 hours minimum. Also, prayer helps.

I have had friends that had this same problem. I don't want to be all preachy or anything but I know that a couple of my friends solved their problems by finding a religion. By finding that religion, they had something to follow and live for.


Also, you might have a mild case of depression. Talk to your doctor and maybe he can prescribe you some medication to help you feel better.
i find that taking a walk make depression go away. just seeing the scenery helps me from thinking negative thoughts. exercise also makes the brain produce endorphins which are natural "feel good" chemicals. hanging with up-beat people is also a good idea. If you are chronically depressed you should see your doctor. There are very good medicines out there that will help.
