I met my husband about 5 years out, he had a ALOT of anxiety still, after 7 years of knowing him he's just gettting it together enough to quit smoking. I think it was 10 years before he was okay day to day.
like you i quit alcohol and coke after 10 years but the anxiety and depression still havent gone away that was 20 years ago have struggled but have been clean and sober but i guess every one is different
