Hi, It is hard for me to sleep at night is this a form of depression.?

if yr worried that u are suffering from depression why don't u go to abc.com, pick the view and answer the quiz they have on depression.
If the only thing u r complaining of is not being able to sleep at night, then that's easy there are a lot of things u can do to help u sleep better like:
1. Reduce yr caffeine intake.
2. Try to have a good workout or even go for long walks during the day.
3. Eat very lightly for dinner.
4. Have a long nice bath.
5. Have a warm glass of milk before bed time (What our mum's used to do).

The most important thing is to stop thinking of everything that annoys u before going to sleep.
no, it's called insomnia.

Could be. you may just be thinking about a lot/stessed out. you may have insomnia which can be treated.
it can be a side effect of depression but is generally called insomnia. if you aren't feeling any symptoms of depression during the day chances are you just need to get more exercise to make sure you're tired enough to go to bed at night. i know i personally can't sleep unless i've exercised.
