I find it strange that I have such a bad reaction and I'm in my mid 30s and never been able to take the pill. I have reactions to all of them. does anyone else have a reaction of depression to the pill despite not being depressed normally? It would help to know there are others out there and whether there's any reason why?
While I don't experience depression myself being on the pill, alot of woman do suffer from depression while on the pill. It's due to the change in your hormones. Talk with your doctor and tell them you suffer from depression while you are the pill and it doesn't matter what kind your on, they may have better suggestion or know of one that doesn't promote this side effect. Don't feel weird to talk to them, just because this may or may not be a normal side effect. Drugs effect people different and that is normal.

I'm a man, but I have experienced this with several women. I think it is somewhat common. Talk to your doc, there might be another pill that won't cause your symptoms.
