I had my tubes tied, since then I get bad PMS 11 years now. Could that cause PMS, depression?


I've tried so many different anti depressants, different vitamins, birth control. NOTHING WORKS. It's terrible.

I'm going to see a GYN soon. Was wondering though if having your tubes tied, if this was a side effect from it.

no tubals are purely physical, its hormones that cause pms and possibly depression, sorry it may be time to see a therapist, i dont mean anything but they might be able to suggest something your medical doctor hasn't thought of, good luck --c

Not unless it's emotional. All the hormones are still there, and physiological changes don't really affect PMS.
Sorry that things aren't going well, a GYN is a good idea, they'll be able to steer you properly. Have you looked at your thyroid? Sometimes that causes depression as well.
