How do u recover from depressions?



I have a severe depression, I feel hopeless, Isolated and anxsious.

One of the best things you can do to help overcome depression is to start helping the underprivileged. You can contact groups like your local American Red Cross, or the Salvation Army. Both are ALWAYS looking for volunteers, and although appreciated, special skills are not necessary. Many people suffering from depression find working with these groups very rewarding because: 1) they find activities that fit your time frame. 2) The work is meaningful and appreciated. 3) The work is rewarding and instills a sense of pride and true accomplishment. 4) It provides a way to meet other people who are concerned, altruistic, and actively want to improve the lives of others. 5) The people that you help acknowledge your efforts positively. 6) It gets out and about in their community. 7) Volunteer work enhances both job and school records. 8) Working with those in need often helps the depressed person put their live in perspective by helping them focus on how fortunate they may actually be when compared to the lives of others.
i can say . . . fo things like hanging out with your friends . . . chat on your ym . . . uhmmm..... actuallt there are lots of things to do . . . listen to uplifting music . . . go out and date! . . . watch comedy movies! . . . pray . . . . that s the best thing to do . . . and also free your ming from thinkin 2 much. u may want 2 go on a vacation . . . yeah!
Once you are diagnosed with depression you always have it but consulting a doctor is the best way to deal with symptoms
Well, the first thing I would suggest is to get an anti-depressant from your Dr. Like prozac, paxil, zoloft or any other kind. What I find that works for me personally is to force myself up and moving even if I dont want to. I exercise and sketch or read or do something that I would normally do. I have to admit that these things dont always help but, I am grateful for the times that they do. Good luck sweetie.
So do I suffer from depression. You need to see a doctor and seek counselling and seek support from family and friends.You may need anredepressants to help you through. Best of luck

Get something more interesting to think about, other than what you are doing now.!! You are finding too many negative thoughts and they usually revolve around you.
