How do u get urself out of a rut , when u just dont feel like doing anything due to depression?

We are spiritual beings and energy is all around us. What we create in our minds goes out in waves and returns ten fold with baggage from wherever it went. Bad thoughts go to heavy places, and return to make us feel even worse. Depression is a spiritual illness. People always say positive thinking is the key, but for me I litterally send my thoughts to higher beings knowing they will give me back whatever I need the most, so if you want to try that, it's easy. You desperately need to get your blood flowing. Get out and exercise. Work up a sweat and repeat. Depression builds like a snowball. You're depressed so you sulk and the more you sulk, the more depressed you get. Put an end to it now and get out there and move around. Make a habit of it and you'll forget you ever had this problem.
It will help you to know the language is accurate. The male deer is in a rut during mating season. He grows horns and goes to fight or mate or die on the highway. Good luck on your vocabulary.
Learn to distinguish feelings from values so that you can learn to ignore your feelings and live your values.

For example, you may not "feel" like exercising, but you "value" the results that come from it. Therefore, you should push yourself to exercise knowing that you don't have to feel like moving your body to move it.

One of the most important things that people with depression and other disorders must learn is to ignore their feelings. This applies to procrastinators as well.
Force yourself to go out and be around people and act happy.
You know fake it until you really feel good.
