Anyone with anxiety or depression NEVER smoked pot?

Every person I have ever met with anxiety or depression has always tried pot. I am sure it's unfair to say marijuana causes depression and anxiety because there are plenty of happy pot-heads I have met.

But are there anyone with anxiety or depression who have never touched a drug? Thanks.

I DID smoke pot, and I DID have anxiety and depression. BUT I had MAJOR depression before I ever touched pot. I too had a lot of problems growing up. Alcoholic mother. I also think some of it might be genetic.

I remember trying to suffocate myself with a pillow when I was about 6, maybe younger. I went through 12 years of school without making any friends. I did other types of self-harm BEFORE I ever tried pot. For me, pot seemed to be an "escape" at first. So did drinking. But the pot and the drinking only made my life worse in the long run. They kept me from seeing the reality of my problems, and from figuring out solutions to them. I tried antidepressants, but they only seemed to work for a few weeks. Then I found out that if you drink with antidepressants, they stop working (or don't help at all!) I finally quit smoking pot and drinking and started the antidepressants again. i have never smoked pot and i suffer from seasonal depression, anxiety, and cynicism but in retrospect I'm heavily medicated
Dude, I don't know if the like 4 people who have never tried pot come out from their rock enough to answer this question.
I have alot of depression and anxiety. I have never done pot or any other drugs, Coffee and cigarettes are enoughdrugs for me, Alot of my anxiety comes from childhood problems. I dont have any idea weather pot causes anxiety., but I suppose it could.
