Can you fall into a serious depression...? |
Just from breaking off a friendship or being apart from a friend for the summer? Good lord, I pray not. Yes, it is possible. But I think if a person is rational and has no other major problems, they are able to see that it is a short time and to value that time. Also, I grow concerned when people cannot "live" without someone else, that usually means they need some help professionally. The key is to have a life of your own, value others and understand that nothing is forever, learn to release when you need to by being mentally healthy. I am not saying that missing someone is abnormal, I am however saying that when it is carried to great lengths, it is not healthy. depression is something in your brain, it can be triggered by something very little. So breaking off a friendship could do that. I hope you are okay im kinda going through the same stuff, depression runs im my family you can, but it`s allot easy er to find some activity to take your mind off of your wows i would not, because my summer would be to focus on what i worry about, and i dont want to worry about nothing Those things don't actually cause it and you shouldn't blame them. If you are susceptible to depressions, then running out of milk for your coffee can trigger it. They are only related in the most distant trivial way. If you start slipping down, try to throw yourself into a new project that will occupy your mind with constructive/positive thoughts. Like Ozzy sings in Paranoid.."Can you help me occupy my mind? Oh yeah!" Everyone has depression.Mild depression can be lived with. But unchecked it may lead to severe depression. Mind control, lack of ego, humility and relief from desires can make a man live real happy and free from depression. VERY FEW can attain this stage. Yes, you can. But fortunately, situational depression tends to be temporary and relatively mild. Exercise, eat well, and meditate. You can take control of your mental health. |
