Having depression is depressing, im on effexor and the psych wants to put me on epilim for anxiety what do you I feel for you. When I get frustrated with life in general, I write up my feelings. I never share them with people. But for you I will share them, to let you know that all of us are struggling, you are not alone. I AM I seek my power from with in me. I grab the power of positive. I can heal myself, I'm not weak, but on the road to recovery. I armor my self from negative in any form, and convert it into, "I will" "I can" "I am Starting" I will treat people how I want to be treated. I can make a difference. I'm not starting tomorrow but today. I want to be a better person, and have a better life. I deserve it, because I am me. I'm unique in my own way, I care , and I'm passionate. There is no materialistic item that make me feel rich, only my friendships do. Taking little steps and completing little goals is how I keep moving forward. I will find the key, to the door to new opportunities. I'm starting changing my life, because I deserve to find happiness. I'm no longer waiting for happiness to find me. I hope this helps. Don't give up. Find as much about it as you can, see if there is an alternative to it. Maybe try natural therapies like Saint John's wart smoke pot and cigarettes and write poetry ive been a mental health suffer for a ong time now but dont believe in medicine.....have you tried alternative methods? meds only cause trouble don't know which drug you are speaking of for anxiety or I could give you more information. Your psychiatrist is trained to handle medication management and unless you feel they are incompetent, you should give it a try but you must feel rapport and some comfort with your pdoc and be able to ask any question and get answers you understand...if you are not then you probably need to speak up or find a new psychiatrist...remember they are medical doctors and trained in psychology, most, I would think have the knowledge and have good reason but you always have a say, because its your body and your health...good luck! ps. always ask about side effects, whether it goes with other drugs, and if you have any allergic serious effects notify doc IMMMEDIATELY! the right meds could really help you and even save your life... |
