Is their any way to treat depression with medicine without seeing a doctor?

Like maybe herbal supplements that are actually effective? I cannot see a doctor with the lack of medical insurance and finding. So know of any good anti depressant supplement? either it be herbal or other. Much thanks in advance!

If your depressed play computer games that amuse you. If you like those shoot em up it would be an excellent choice. I prefer cs (counter strike). xD
No, you should see a doctor. Prescription medications work very well for depression.
Herbal supplements only do more harm. Just get over your problems and take them like a man. Everyone has a bad day, it's rather stupid to do nothing about it and make yourself feel worse. She's right, make sure you get the right medication though. Because some meds make you even more depressed, and make you want to kill yourself.
I always put it out there this way. Hey look there is always someone out there worse then you right? Then I just laugh it off and carry on my day. I used to be depressed, until I pinpointed and solved the problem.
