Has anyone here used cognitive behavioral therapy without drugs to treat anxiety and depression?

If so, how effective was it?

Yes, depending on the person it can be beneficial; however, the best option is usually a combination of CBT and medication. Source(s): self, MSW
My opinion is that therapy and a careful diet would solve your anxiety and depression.
Diet: because the brain chemistry is made from amino acids, so eating certain foods creates a normal chemistry
Therapy: to overcome the fears that have developed due to the imbalanced brain chemistry.
