Depression... - Is it true? |
Is it true that dark light can stimulate depression (if i dont open my window often) I've always heard it's good for depression to be in the light. Get outdoors for some sunlight. Some people have depression called SADS, a seasonal disorder, and doctors often advise them to sit under a special light which simulates the sun to feel better. Let the sunshine in, little one. Reduced exposure to natural sunlight is a primary contributor to Seasonal Affective Disorder (a form of depression). Yes, I can't remember the correct name for it but opening a window and letting the sunshine helps. It won't make you want to do cartwheels but it could put a smile on your face. i think so because i never ever open my curtains or windows.and I'm hardly ever happy and get depressed alot.i think I'll start opening my windows and curtains. yes - but if you have depression , opening a curtain is not going to make it all go away. You should seek medical attention to see if you need medication and or counseling. Depression is terrible and you dont have to live that way. There are options out there that can help! |
