Does any one know of any good online support groups for someone suffering from depression? Hi there Cottontail. I have included a resource below. Perhaps you should check it out. It might be helpful for you. There are hundreds of groups in this resource, so take your time and explore. You have to register online, but it looks like it's quite a good site. Good luck! Source(s): http://dailystrength.org/ Try ivillage ivillage.com You would be better going to a local support group near where you live. One to one contact with similar people will give you more insight and raise your mood. Also. I have suffered from depression for ten years and have tried a wide range of drugs. I have not worked since 2000. I have recently discovered that diet can produce the same symptoms as depression. Especially refined cereals, such as wheat in bread and pasta. Since dropping bread and pasta in my diet my mood and general health has been improving. Food combining is supposed to be a very good 'cure-all'. Developed by Dr Hay in the 1930s, it recommends that you do not mix proteins and starches at the same meal. Look it up on the web. Some people have had miraculous cures from ill health. Some are at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris... on page 2: depression treatments. no but this site might help! http://www.coping.org |
