How beneficial is Omega 3/ fish oil in PMS symptoms/depression/hot flashes?

If not what IS helpful that's not exp. or risky. Every month my PMS is off the charts & I & every1 around me suffers.

Omega 3 contains EPA and DHA which helps to reduce bad cholesterol and improve good cholesterol, promotes healthy heart and cardiovascular system, relieves aching and inflammed joints, improves mood, memory and concentration, relieves stress, migraine headaches n alleviate skin problems.
However, don't take it 1 week before your period cos fish oil causes blood thinning or u might end up with heavy bleeding.

I think what u really need to take is Evening Primrose Oil. It contains Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA ) which essential to relieve PMS - depression, irritability, breast pain, bloating, cramps, hot flushes. Evening Primrose Oil + Starflower Oil is the best cos it has higher concentration of GLA.

Also take note: Skip alcoholic drinks, tea, coffee, sodas, sweets, pineapple and fish a week before n during period. Limit meat consumption during those days. Eat more greens, oats n bananas. Drink warm water.
