How long does it take to stop feeling nauseous and sick after stopping Lexapro (Anxiety/Depression pill) ?


I weened off of the Lexapro. But now that I stopped taking it completely im really nauseous all the time.

It took me about two weeks to even start to feel normal. It will probably be about a month before you completely feel like yourself again. Your lucky you got to ween off of it. I had to abruptly stop and I was a b*tch for like 2 weeks straight. I was emotional, irrational, and hard to be around. Sound familiar?
Hang in there, you may want to try a taper down rather than cold turkey to avoid those symptoms.

it could take as long as a week.... nausea is one of the withdrawal symptoms and should subside in a few days.... if it takes longer than a week talk to your doctor
