No

nope.

diabetes is a "disease" that is caused with the beta cells in the pancreas do not work at all (type 1) or don't work enough or the body does not use the insulin like it should (type 2)

no

It is an endocrine disorder of the pancreas

No, it's a chronic illness.

Diabetes is neither a virus or a bacteria. Depending on what type you have Insulin or Non-Insulin dependant diabetes, diabetes is a malfunction of the pancreas. In a healthy pancreas, the islets cells create insulin. However, when the pancreas fails to produce insulin then you become dependant on insulin shots. In a Non-Insulin dependant diabetic, the pancreas islet cells still produce some insulin, however the body is not as reactive to it as a person without diabetes. Therefore, they either have to decrease their sugar intake and control the diabetes with their diet or take medications that help increase the insulin sensitivity of the insulin that is created by the pancreas. Diabetes is a pancreatic malfuntion, not a virus or bacteria. If you need a good bacteria vs virus project go with epiglotitis vs croup.

Diabetes is neither a virus nor a bacteria.
Type 1 diabetes occurs when your own immune system attacks the islet cells in your pancreas that produce insulin. Eventually, all the cells are destroyed and no insulin is produced. Type 1 may be triggered by a viral infection, but is not directly caused by a virus.
Type 2 diabetes occurs when your body becomes less sensitive to the insulin that your pancreas does produce. Type 2 diabetics at first actually have very high levels of insulin, but it still doesn't keep their sugar in check. In part this is caused by obesity.

No, a virus is like a cold. Something that cannot be treated or cured, you just have to wait for it to go away. Diabetes is curable and treatable if in the stage beyond being able to be cured.

no it is not a virus or a bacteria. It happens whenyour body can no longer produce enough insulin
