Diabetes and sex????

So im a virgin but im wondering when you have sex how does it affect your blood sugar?????

i have type 1 diabetes and im 15

mr peachy im pretty sure its the opposite
b/c type two has less like wacky blood sugar going everywhere than type 1
why in the world are you a top contributor

For a type two, it would lower your blood sugar. For a type one, it would have less of an effect.

Essentially Mr. Peachy is correct except for there would not be a significant difference between how type I and II diabetes respond.

Consider sex exercise. Exercise lowers anyone's blood sugar because it facilitates the uptake of glucose into the cells, especially muscle cells. This is independent of whether people produce endogenous insulin or not.

well i'm 22 and have had type 1 diabetes since i was 8. recently got married. sex does not affect blood sugar much. i have never had a low during sex....sometimes occasionally 30 minutes to an hour afterwards....thats just according to how but exercise was involved. lol i used to go to diabetic camp as a child and teen, and they taught "sex ed" and they always said keep gatorade beside the bed incase of lows...but that has never happened to me...thank God! ha. mood killer! but yeah....no changes and blood sugar has NEVER affected my sex life. (BUT.....don't have sex based on your blood sugar.....)

it'd affect it like any sort of exersize would. so you'd still have to check your BSL like you'd do for any sport you play.
exersize affects everyone differently (my bsl goes up near the end and then about 1 hr later i have a hypo)

For both types it can lower the blood sugar. Although the amount that it lowers it will not be that significant. Exercise affects both types of diabetes

It's like any form of exercise...it creates an adrenaline rush, which like any hormone can send your BG's higher. For me, I unhook my pump when I, you know...then when I hook it back up, I give myself an extra unit of insulin and it seems to work well.

All the above 3 answers are correct. You are only 15 and should listen and analyse experienced people's opinion rather than expressing damaging remarks.

you would go low
but i thought the same thing about mr peechys answer sodont feel bad
