Type 1 diabetes in gross anatomy lab?

hi, I will be doing a gross anatomy lab. I am a type 1 diabetic who needs to test in between the 6 hour lab and eat. What steps should I do to make sure I protect myself? as in hygiene like test at certain times eat in between wash hands thoroughly take my lab coat off and test, stuff like this. THANKS. should i be worried?

You shouldn't worry, they usually have very strict hygiene in the labs. Wear gloves during the lab then take them off and wash your hands with soap before testing, etc. I'm sure you can work that out yourself.

I wouldn't be worried. I'm sure your professor will understand if you need to step out for a snack or a test. Get some Glucose tablets to put in the pocket of your lab coat just in case.
