Im 14 and I might be insulin resistant, i was just wondering what that is and is it hard to live with? kelseywe... ! Being insulin resistant just means that your body has a reaction to insulin. In other words you are allegeric to insulin. The are many different reactions you could have to insulin. YOur doctor will have to tell you what type of reaction you have to insulin and how to deal with it. It teaches you to eat right, balanced meals at regular times.
