Cure for Diabetes!?

is it true that they found a new cure for diabetes (other than Herbal thing)? something that makes sense?
specially for type-1 diabetes?!

No, there is no cure for now except a pancreas transplant. (and the herbal thing is not for real) If there was a cure, your doctor would tell you right away.
There have been many, many claims just like the above answer and they are all not true. We discuss this at almost every diabetic ed class that I go to because there is always some new claim. (I go every month) Most of them are just money making schemes.

I have not heard about a cure for diabetes type 1 other than a pancreas transplant as mentioned by other answers.

However, there is a new report about Type II where they do gastric bypass surgery and the diabetes disappears in days, long before weight loss.

i dont know, but i hope so, because im a type 1 diabetic myself... Are you also a type 1 diabetic??
