Diabetes pee test? |
i took a diabetes pee test they said there is no glucose. As you know, your kidneys filter your blood, producing waste that comes out in the urine. Usually, the kidneys filter the blood in such a way that all the glucose is returned to the blood stream. When the level of glucose in the blood gets too high though it overwhelms the kidneys' ability to recapture that glucose, causing some of it to "spill over", so to speak" into the urine. your sugar wasent high enough. only very high sugar leves (above 170 i think) will spill over into the kidneys and be excreted in the urine. its really not a very good way to test for the disease. |
