I eat 30 min before my blood test can that affect my glocose levels??????If so how much....most of my meal was carbs Craig T ! I agree with tisha83. You really should check your blood sugar level before eating. Your blood sugar level would have risen, but determining by how much would be beyond the scope of most people. The moment that you swallow your first bite of carbs, your sugars begin to rise. Checking 30min after a meas full of carbs makes no sence unless your testing to see how much the carbs effect your glucose. You should take a few minutes before you eat, check your sugar, count your carbs, and give yourself insulin all before you eat for optimal glucose control. We all slip up from time to time, but try not to do this too often as you sugars will be out of control. Yes!, you need to check it before you eat to get the most accurate result. it can affect it! you should check your blood BEFORE meals!!! |
