You sure don't need any of these. For real!

If you keep your blood sugar down with diet and exercises, you can go along without complications. However, if you don't keep your blood sugar down using diet, exercise and/or medication, you can lose eyesight, extremities, kidney disease, heart attack, stroke, and the list goes on. Diabetes is a very serious disease. And it's a progressive disease, even if you're able to keep your blood sugar down now without medications, you may not be able to down the road and may need to use medication. If you are to the point of needing insulin, there is no choice, you must use medications to keep the blood sugar in balance.
