I just ate an entire pan of brownies. Will I get diabetes?

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo maybe not sure

there are no easy answers about diabetes....
you do not get diabetes from eating anything...it is a condition that can not be cured (now) but can be controlled with a doctors guidance, medication, weight control and a diabetic diet.
The desire to eat a whole pan of brownies is not a good sign.
uncontrolled diabetics often crave sweets but then so to other people.
Do any of your close relative have diabetes? That is a main predictor of diabetes.. the tendency is often inherited.
If you are really concerned about this there is a simple inexpensive test... sometimes medical groups do diabetic screening tests for free.. if you have a friend who had diabetes ask them if they will give you a finger stick test...
the supplies cost about $1 so you might reemburse them..
be sure you have not eaten before the test...at least 4 to 6 hours before the test. Good luck.
avoid sweets and overeating whether you have diabetes or not....

You probably- no, won't get diabetes. You'll only get diabetes if you eat a pan of brownies everyday or if you have lots of sugar everyday. You might gain a pound or 2 but you won't get diabetes. If you are still worried, go to the doctors and test your blood sugar. Hope my advice helps!

Uhm, no you probably won't get diabetes unless you're over weight or become overweight and develop very bad eating habits. But even then, it's not a for sure thing. Diabetes is caused when your pancreas produces insulin (type 2) but your body doesn't know how to use it, or when your pancreas doesn't produce insulin (type 1) and you need to use insulin manually.

Um no. Diabetes is not caused by eating too much sugar - it's caused by a disease your body develops that reduces insulin production, which is what helps metabolize your sugar (or something like that). I read about it in a magazine at the doctor's office the other day.
I think the disease is like Thyroid disease... you might try chefmd.com or whfoods.net for more info - they should have some.

Enjoy your brownies lol.

you will not get diabetes from eating a pan full of brownies at one time. however you may get very sick and throw it up. oh, and you may get fat if you make it a habit!!

If you do it everyday, it may lead to diabetes. Once won't do it.
