Diabetes-i've had for 14 yrs and am sick of insulin and pills ruining my stomach.? |
A woman at the store gave me a pill i could get at healthfood store.I wrote it down and lost it and she said it worked and only cost about $13 a mo.Anyone know what it is? Thanks Hmm, the last guy {abaca...} was harsh, I think she means a herbal supplement that can be taken complementery to the insulin, if not, then this is indeed dangerous for your health, without insulin you will most likely fall into a coma. If you have to take insulin shots, and you want to quit the shots because "a woman at the store gave me a pill" and you want to take the pills because "she said it worked". Two other nutrients are extremely lacking in diabetic's nutritional profiles are manganese (5-10mg daily) and vanadium, (taken as vanadyl sulfate), so this would be a good place to start as well. I don't know what it is, but I do recommend a specific web site and e mail my friend who's son has Type 1 diabetes, which sounds like what you have, because it doesn't sound like adult onset (Type 2) based upon your question. |
