You do not "gradually" get diabetes, but there is something called a honeymoon period. That is a period of time after you are diagnosed where you need less insulin than usual because your body may still be producing a very small amount of insulin. Then after a few months you have to increase your insulin dosage. My little brother is a type 1 Diabetic, and the symptoms of the onset are as follows: yeah, but very rare. usually most people are type II diabetic. |
