How do diabetes affects children?

PLZ help me thanks

i got diabetes when was 7. i spent a lot of time in and out of the hospital when i was younger and even through the teenage and adult years. i had to make sure i always had my insulin and blood testing testing kit before i went anywhere. plus you have to be mindful of the things you eat. it is hard but if you put your mind to it you can grow up just like everyone else.things have changed in the past 31 years, it is a little easier to eat right and just make sure that you exercise and take care of your feet because i did not and i lost my left leg due to a small cut on my heel.

Diabetes can affect the some parts of our body like the kidney, eyes, nerves and blood vessels.Diabetes can hinder the growth of Children. It can affect there lives because they are no longer capable of doing things that they normally do. They cannot eat some food that other children are capable to eat. It can also affect the memory of Children.

Children can prevent Diabetes by making changes in their diet and increasing their level of physical activity..

My friends four year old has been diagnosed with it recently. The child woke one day very run down. She could not stop drinking water .Thirsty continuosly and running to the toilet all the time and bed wetting. Her blood reading was so high she was admitted into hospital straight away. She is now insulant dependent.Four times a day she has injections. If you have any questions speak to a doctor.
