I have type 1 Diabetes and I was wondering if low blood sugar messes up your organs and blood circulation?

low blood sugar does not cause the same damage as high blood sugar does. the only real danger you would be in is of having a seizure, passing out, and dying if the low never gets treated. as long as you recognize your lows, treat them, and keep your blood sugar in target range, it shouldn't affect your organs or circulation. long term complications are don't come from low blood sugars.

Hypoglycemia is the primary risk. While you are hypoglycemic (going into shock due to low blood glucose level) you are at risk driving, working with machinery and working at heights. If untreated the person with type 1 will lose consciousness and become comatose. In addition to death, prolonged comatose can result in the death of brain cells and traumatic brain injury (ie. front temporal lobe damage).

I know others will disagree with me, but I have often wondered if there is a correlation between frequent hypoglycemic events over a prolonged period of time and depression.

Low blood sugar also called hypoglycemia can play havoc in one's body.
