Is type 2 diabetes in children reversible by diet and exercise? No, there is no CURE for diabetes. However, with diet and exercise it can be completely manageable. Not unless you consider a restricted diet a cure! Now, you may be able to get off meds if adhere to a very strict, low carb diet, but that is no more a cure than someone with a food allergy avoiding trouble foods, someone with Celiac's avoiding gluten, or an adict avoiding their vice. If weight is an issue, loosing a few pounds and excerise might help. But unfortunately, once you have diabetes it is there to stay. No, but is certainly controllable. I was on actos plus and insulin, but with exercise, diet and Xango juice I am off all my medication for diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Check out my profile to see more. I wouldn't go so far as to say yes. But it does help control it. My mother has diabetes but can't afford a doctor, and diet and exercise are helping her a lot. YES If they are fat, probably so. |
