Can you have constantly low blood sugar and not necissarily have diabetes?

i keep having these fits all the time where we believe my sugar is bottoming out, but my sugar rarely ever gets to high, can i just have constantly low blood sugar and not have diabetes?

Yes. I am hypoglycemic... that means my blood sugar is always on the low side Hyperglycemic is Diabetes. I dont have diabetes. Always keep snacks with you. Oranges and juice are the best when your sugar levels hit rock bottom.

You can be hypoglycemic but not diabetic, people can also be hyperglycemic, which is rarer, you have to watch most of what you eat with Hyperglycemia,
talk to your doctor, you may be hyperglycemic but don't diagnose yourself from advise over the internet, you need appropriate tests not random advice.
If you feel that your blood sugar is low keep something with you to bring it back up, glucose tablets of a variety of flavors can be found at drugstores, grocery stores, and walmart. You can also carry around any kind of snack like peanut butter crackers or a candy bar (but that's not too healthy).
So talk to your doctor, tell them of the symptoms you feel and get tested.

Yes you can constantly have low blood sugar. The way I understand as having diabetes is when it goes over 130. Having low blood sugar, I believe below 70 is life threatening. For your sake, you need to have a diabetic test kit to monitor your low blood sugar. Anything below 70 I would be alarmed. All you have to do is drink something sweet like orange juice, apple juice or use glucose tablets if you have them. Its important that you get your blood sugar up to keep you from going into a diabetic coma or from dying. I hope this helps.

It all depends on your diet. If you are eating high protein and not a lot of starches or bread etc.

Keep a food journal for a week.
