Anyone ever been on Byetta for Type II Diabetes? |
I was wondering if it caused you to lose weight and if so, how much over how long of a time period? I used Byetta for awhile. It helped my blood sugar, but did not cause weight loss. It does not cause a lot of weight loss in most people, usually around 10 pounds. There have been reports of a large weight loss, but they are not typical. It helps some lose weight, at a slow rate, 10 pounds over about 3 to 4 months. Many people complained of moderate to severe nausea and vomiting for a few weeks, then it subsided. I HAVE BEEN USING BYETTA FOR ABOUT 8 MONTHS. I HAVE LOST ABOUT 15 POUNDS IN THAT TIME. I'M OKAY WITH THE MORNING INJECTION BUT DR TOOK ME OFF THE EVENING INJECTION BECAUSE MY SUGARS BECAME DANGEROUSLY LOW. |
