Does having diabetes affect my masturbating a lot?

jw, i don't masturbate daily, but like three times a week, and my blood sugar sometimes gets out of wack.

It could because sometimes with diabetes and things like heart disease erections can be difficult to achieve at times, eat a snack before you masturbate and eat a meal afterwards to help level off your blood sugar, check i frequently too so you can stay on top of it and you wont give it a chance to drop to low.

Diabetes can affect your sexual activity in a couple of ways. Over time, as with your entire cardiovascular system, you may have problems getting or keeping erections. Most diabetic men find help with Viagra, Cialis or Levitra. As far as masturbating, sexual and other exciting activities release endorphins into your system, which make you feel good but like many hormones will make your blood glucose rise. It happens in women, too. After I have sex I need to usually give myself a bolus of insulin with my pump so I don't go high.

Well, if your diabetes is severe, it probably would cause you to lose a bit of your sex drive-------three times a week seems pretty normal to me. It depends on your age and circumstances regarding sex drive.

I cannot believe that the actual masturbating would cause your sugars to go up. You need to keep a food diary and see what you can do level off your sugar levels.

Next time you are at the doctors, ask about sex drive and diabetes-----it is an interesting question and I bet they would like to answer it ---------and you will have a professional opinion.

Good Luck!!!!

I have a pretty good idea that having Diabetes won't affect your blood sugars. The sugar in your blood has to do with how much Carbs/sugar you eat. Masturbating has nothing to do with what you eat.

...Unless you eat it. Maybe. But I still don't see how it would. I'm not sure if it even has carbs. By the way I hope you don't cause that's gross. Eating it I mean. :D

Out of wack[ whack ] is right.
