Exams and Tests
Type 2 diabetes is diagnosed with the following blood tests:

Fasting blood glucose level -- diabetes is diagnosed if higher than 126 mg/dL on 2 occasions.
Random (non-fasting) blood glucose level -- diabetes is suspected if higher than 200 mg/dL and accompanied by the classic symptoms of increased thirst, urination, and fatigue (this test must be confirmed with a fasting blood glucose test).
Oral glucose tolerance test -- diabetes is diagnosed if glucose level is higher than 200 mg/dL after 2 hours.

definately not .....!!1 glucone electrodes , reads the sugar level of the day your tested, diabetics used this to keep record of the sugar level , i use to have diabetes and my sister didnt , a couple of times her test read higher then mine .. butits only becuase of the amount of sugar that was in her blood at that amount of time, ... if u want to find out rather u have diabetes go see a doctor, or test regularly the normal number is around 60 to 115 .... for various people, if your in the light 100's and above, about 2 hours after you have eating then i think you should consider going to the doctors
